Our annual Missouri turkey hunting event is scheduled for 28 April - 03 May (including travel time) in Northwestern Missouri. Four Veterans will be selected for this event and notified shortly after the closing of applications. If you do not get notified via phone, text, or email within a day or two of the application closing date then you were not selected to attend. Meals, lodging, and licenses will be provided. Transportation for Veterans living in and around Minnesota will also be provided from a TBD meeting point in Minnesota. All other Veterans will self-transport to the hunting location. Selected Veterans are asked to bring a shotgun appropriate for taking turkeys, appropriate ammo, and camouflage clothes for a variety of spring Missouri weather conditions. If you do not have a shotgun notify WWGS and one will be provided. Please ensure that you can attend this event, i.e., clear it with work, school, and spouse, before applying.
